Liǧʷiɫdaxʷ Peoples
Adorned with a beautiful abalone-inlaid cedar headband and holding a “copper,” a powerful symbol in Liǧʷiłdax̌ʷ culture, this striking totem stands taller than the Torii Gate in the same park.
Indigenous Tourism BC acknowledges that it is situated on operates on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam Indian Band), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation).
